Welcome to our Blog!
Every day we receive numerous requests for information on our services. Many of these requests come from individuals and small business that have traditionally had very little experience with private investigators or the law and are in need of some basic screening, background, due diligence, intelligence or investigation services. We spend a great deal of time responding to inquiries, much of which is spent explaining how we perform some of our services and what some of the limitations or challenges we may encounter are.
As such, we at Enviro-Lynx Investigation have decided to start a blog to help provide you with useful tips, tools, resources, links, experiences, changes to laws as well as updates and viewpoints on industry norms. We hope you will find this information useful and informative.
You can also follow our blog and / or post comments or questions on our Company Facebook site at www.facebook.com/DueDiligenceInvestigations!

Online investing, dating, marriage and business deals are fraught with fraud and misrepresentation. Just the other day, I was speaking with a colleague from Eastern Europe who expressed how internet based scamming has taken off there. Its practically a cottage industry, he said.
With the availability of pre-paid cell phones, anonymous remailers, free communication tools (such as Skype) and easy access to spoofing tools (where you attribute your online activities to someone else's account) ... it is easier than ever before to be untraceable and un-verifiable.
So what ever you are doing, please follow some basic rules for online activities. Be cautions when revealing personal information to individuals and companies. Never reveal personal information (dates of birth, contact information or addresses) on social networking sites. Don't send money to anyone you haven't met in person. And if you think you know who is asking you for money (like a cousin or work friend), pick up the phone and verify it with them first. And if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
And if you really want to connect with someone you have met online, have a professional investigator check them out first.
